Jackson visitor from Sudan working for Independence

Bruna Siricio of South Sudan, shown here (right) in 2010, has notified the WCIV that she is proudly working with preparatory committees for the South Sudanese independence that was celebrated on July 9, 2011.

Bruna Siricio was in Jackson as an international visitor in 2010. Bruna was nominated as a ‘Peace Nobel in 2005’ and is now at home preparing for the upcoming independence! On July 9, 2011 Southern Sudan became the 193 country in the world. Bruna is tremendously excited and is grateful for all she learned about independent governments while here in Jackson and the USA. Bruna participated in the Women on the Frontlines of Change event at the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
