We are looking forward to our new group arriving from the Marshall Islands, Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea and Tonga from November 5th – 10th, 2019!
The Department of State has outlined the following specific objectives for the project:
- • Introduce social entrepreneurship and workforce development in the United States;
- • Examine ways to foster local business opportunities as well as how to take advantage of new technology to generate employment opportunities;
- • Explore social enterprise as a model for business and social development; and
- • Discuss skillsets that qualify youth for the job market and efforts that demonstrate to businesses the benefits of hiring well trained youth.
